UPDATE: YEAH!!!! Rosie’s mouth is healing on its own!!! Dr. Walker was really surprised but it looks like Rosie will not need an additional surgery to close the hole! She has a follow up next month and if the healing continues, there will be no further need to do anything to her teeth other than cleaning!!! We even got clearance to start brushing her remaining back teeth very carefully – being mindful not to bump any of the front gum area. And…she is back up to 4 pounds 4 ounces – she gained back the weight she lost. It looks like we have rounded that bend and we can focus on getting her more mobile soon.
